Safeguarding and Safe Practices in Education: They will learn how to ensure the safety and welfare of learners by implementing safeguarding policies and procedures. Create a Stimulating and Inclusive Learning Environment: They will develop skills to design engaging and supportive spaces that encourage active participation and learning. Building Positive Relationships and Promoting Positive Behaviour: They will understand techniques to establish trust, encourage respect, and manage learner behavior effectively. Fostering Engagement and Independent Learning Skills: They will equip learners with the motivation and skills to take ownership of their learning journey. Understanding and Supporting Learner Needs: They will gain insights into identifying and addressing the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND. Supporting Learners’ Wellbeing and Personal Development: They will promote the emotional and personal growth of learners through targeted support and guidance. Supporting Assessment and Planning: They will learn how to contribute to assessment processes and assist in planning activities that enhance learning outcomes. Collaborative Partnerships: They will work effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to learner development. Facilitating Individual and Small Group Learning: They will develop strategies to support personalised learning experiences for individuals and small groups. Planning and Leading Enrichment Activities: They will design and deliver extracurricular activities that enrich the educational experience. Reflective Practice and Professional Growth: They will use reflective techniques to evaluate your practice and foster continuous professional development. End Point Assessment Preparation: They will prepare for your final assessment with dedicated guidance, ensuring you’re confident in demonstrating the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course.

In-person Masterclass sessions: Hands-on training led by experts, offering practical insights and real-world skills through face-to-face interaction. Virtual Webinars: Live, online sessions where they can engage with their tutor, ask questions, and learn remotely from any location. Group Learning Forums: Collaborative spaces for them to discuss, share experiences, and learn with other participants in a guided group setting. Dedicated Skills Coach: A personal mentor who provides ongoing support, guidance, and tailored feedback to help them reach their learning goal. Online Portfolio: A digital platform where you can track progress, upload assignments, and showcase their work throughout the training programme. Assessments: Evaluations designed to measure their knowledge, skills and behaviours, ensuring you meet the required competencies of the programme.

Upon achievement, learners will receive certification to become a qualified Teacher Assistant. They can further progress to Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Teacher programmes.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Will work as a Teacher Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Learning Support Assistant and predominantly work in primary, secondary, special schools or further education institutions.
