The Teaching Assistant training programme prepares individuals to support learners in primary, secondary, and special schools, as well as further education institutions. Participants will assist teachers in enhancing student progress through individual and small group instruction while promoting positive behaviours. The programme focuses on strategies for supporting diverse learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, and encourages collaboration with educators to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Upon achievement, learners will receive certification to become a qualified Teacher Assistant. They can further progress to Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Teacher programmes.
Will work as a Teacher Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Learning Support Assistant and predominantly work in primary, secondary, special schools or further education institutions.
