The School Sports Coach Programme equips coaches to design and deliver coaching plans focused on developing children’s psychomotor skills and broader physical education standards, aligned with the Department for Education’s National Curriculum. Coaches assess children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical needs to set education targets and create holistic curriculum plans. Collaboration with key stakeholders; children, parents, teachers, SENCOs, and local authorities are central to ensuring comprehensive support for each child’s overall development.
